The prayer-blessings are taken from Weller’s Roman Ritual Vols. II (1952) and III (1946). The Extra-Ordinary form is used by authority of Pope Benedict XVI’s Motu Proprio Summorum Pontificum (2007) and the Instruction Universae Ecclesiae (2011) no. 35 from the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei. The exorcists of AMOE prefer this form of blessing in so far as the sacramentals are used for the protection of the Catholic Faithful from malevelont spirits is concerned.
